Steve studied music before graduating from Flinders University Drama Centre and later studied clown at Ecole Philippe Gaulier (UK)

In 1998 he was the Artistic Director of Riverland Youth Theatre and has been associated with No Strings Attached Theatre of Disbility since 1995 firstly as an Associate Director and later as Administrator (2002-04) and Tutor (current). He has also performed with Kneehigh Puppeteers since 2002 and was acting administrator (2005-06). He is a current member of the Arts SA peer assessment panel for Community Cultural Development projects. Proud member of Actors Equity since 1993.
